Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for partnership development, external funding, and project delivery? We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Partnerships and Projects to join our team and drive forward our strategic goals through innovative partnerships, funding initiatives, and employer engagement.

About the Role:

As Head of Partnerships and Projects, you will play a vital role in growing and managing collaborative relationships with employers, government bodies, and external funding partners. Your efforts will directly support curriculum development, funding growth, and ultimately improve outcomes for students and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forge and maintain strategic relationships with employers, government agencies, local authorities, and funding bodies.
  • Proactively identify and secure new funding opportunities that align with the college’s vision and strategic priorities.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales and project lifecycle—from prospecting to delivery and closure.
  • Oversee cross-directorate bid coordination and collaborate with our bid writer to produce successful funding proposals.
  • Represent the college at events, networks, and funding forums, enhancing visibility and reputation.
  • Provide strong leadership to the partnerships team, ensuring project targets, budgets, and timelines are met.
  • Collaborate with curriculum and leadership teams to ensure that funded projects meet quality and compliance requirements.

  • Strong understanding of funding streams, contract management, and employer engagement.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to assess opportunities and drive institutional growth.
